Ryan Kelly is a fee-only Certified Financial Planner ® (CFP) professional, and specializes in providing as-needed advice and financial planning services for do-it-yourself investors.
From 2008 to 2018, Ryan was an investment analyst and chief operations officer at Evergreen Capital Management, an investment management firm that serviced a small number of high-net-worth investors and grew to over $105 million in assets under management.
Since 2019, Ryan has been assisting DIY Investors with project-based financial planning and investment guidance. His financial planning practice is incorporated under the name RFK Capital Management. Since 2019, Ryan has completed projects for over 400 clients in 45 states.
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys hiking and skiing in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains that are close to his home. He is also an avid golfer.
Ryan has a strong interest and passion for World War II history and research. His efforts to remember and learn the forgotten story of his great-uncle, a World War 2 fighter-bomber pilot, were featured in the Deseret News. Ryan also loves U.S. history and spent a semester in college giving tours of the U.S. Capitol Building.
Ryan graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Brigham Young University in 2008. He earned a certificate in financial planning from Boston University, has passed the FINRA Series 65 exam, and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Ryan and his wife, Paige, have two children and reside in Sandy, Utah.
