The ADV 2 is the primary disclosure document investment advisers provide to their clients. The document is filed with the SEC and made available to the public on the SEC’s Investment Adviser Public Disclosure (IAPD) page. The document is prepared in a narrative format, written in plain English, and contains a wealth of information about the firm including the types of services offered, the adviser’s fee schedule, investment strategies, and other important information.
